Rod Wave claims competing rappers and labels are against him
In Rod Wave's opinion, bloggers don't provide him the respect he deserves. The rapper and songwriter recently informed followers on social media that rival labels and other artists have been paying bloggers to disparage him.
A supporter of Rod Wave posted about assuming fans and their lack of support for the rapper in public despite his sold-out concerts.
The "Ghetto Gospel" singer grabbed a screenshot of the post and added it to his Instagram story along with some commentary. Insinuating that people don't want to see him advance in his career, he asserts that other rappers pay bloggers to "push hate narratives."
Fans may also remember when, earlier this year, Rod's Beautiful Mind album debuted at No. 1 on the charts inside its first week of release.
