We check out the latest DF-style colony builder in this let's play Embark gameplay video, adding a third dimension with blocky hills, caves and oceans.

We play around with the start of a colony, seeing how to build workshops that allow you to make food, furniture, weapons and more. We harvest, plant, build and squabble over how hot Old Git is!

The focus for Embark gameplay is on deep simulation, including social interactions between a small group of colonists. You're supposed to really get to know them and keep them happy, as well as healthy and not tonked by baddies!
