In this episode of Alpha Soup we check out Way Beyond gameplay, playing a very early version of a new roguelite inspired by the classics but adding a cool open world with a neat scrolling effect where shadows loom on the horizon.

Currently you can explore and fight, collecting gems and hearts, plus wield different tools to destroy the very landscape. Future elements of Way Beyond gameplay include multi-level dungeons, music, magical artefacts, more enemies and more.
