Emerald City Part 1 - Ashes 2063 Weapons , Doom Mod Playthrough
12Hey Guys, Lil Johnny Red here with a part of a Playthrough with the Doom mod Ashes 2063 Weapons, with Doomer Boards mapset Emerald City Enjoy :D
Taking a slight break from playing as Gangsters or Outlaws i'm going deep within the ruins of a city that nature itself has retaken, trying to find something or explore. the objective is meaningless however it would seem that bandits and some level of mutated creatures have either made their home here or have decided to resurface once more to reclaim the lost city for themselves.
It stands to reason that the presence of bandits and deadly mutants does not make for an easy scavenger run so they'll have to be removed.. by force if necessary.
Notes - First up, if you haven't played Ashes 2063 or Ashes Afterglow before then go do so, the same mechanics apply here only instead of using junk to upgrade weapons at stations you instead find mod kits to upgrade your arsenal.. the enemies function the same and have been placed appropriately in their dedicated spawn category, same with all the powerups you find through out Ashes.
No Bike with mounted MG's but that's not a dealbreaker.
Combine this with the level pack itself, with it's post apocalyptic look and feel makes for a suitable unofficial Ashes Campaign. if all you wanted to do was shoot muties and bandits and not worry about questlines and stuff.
I'm not going to say it IS an unofficial sequel but it would scratch that itch for a time until the latest Installment of the Ashes series gets released.
