Retroarch running on a Retail Xbox One

I go over the installation and configuration of Retroarch, and try out a bunch of games with various cores. The first 5ish minutes is tutorial talk, the rest is game play captures directly from the Xbox One HDMI port. Hopefully things came out looking alright.

*** YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE FILE PERMISSIONS FOR THE XBOX TO ACCESS THE COPIED OVERLAYS ***

Overlay Setup
1. Download the bezel packs from here:
https://github.com/thebezelproject?tab=repositories
2. Download the modified config files:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uo68z5TMPiwazDQGSohRTdSHHpG_kuP3?usp=share_link
3. Copy the overlay directory from the Bezel Project zip file to d:\overlay
4. Copy the contents of the modified config file .7z to d:\config
5. In Retroarch directory settings, set the Config directory to d:\config and the overlay directory to d:\overlay
6. Browse to the Retroarch configuration menu option and save your configuration
7. Exit and reload

Bezels _should_ automatically load for each of the systems with a corresponding config directory. If things look wonky, set the video output to 1.33 aspect ratio.

Directory overrides will probably break your bezel autoloading. Similarly, if you have save configuration on exit, auto loading might end up loading the same bezel. If that happens, you can manually change the bezel in the per-game overlay settings, and then save a game override.

To fix this permanently, browse to the system directory in d:\config and delete the file with the format [EmulatorName].cfg. That will stop the core from autoloading the same, wrong, bezel over and over.
