Today's tutorial is a quick overview on how to enable SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support in Windows 10. If you didn't know, in later Window 10 versions (updates), this network protocol is disabled due to security reasons.
Edit: Be sure you know what you are doing when you are enabling SMB 1.0. This is the vulnerable version that big ransomware viruses like WannaCry exploited.


Well, for PS2 gamers, we need this option enabled so we can have the PS2 see the PS2 games shared on the computer via SMB.

If you have security concerns, then disconnect your computer from the Internet when SMB v1 is enabled, or make sure you got a rock solid firewall, antivirus, and anti-malware software installed.
