Avengers Endgame's unique take on time travel can be quite difficult to comprehend; especially considering that it defies the more classic interpretation depicted in films such as Back to the Future and The Terminator.
With a little bit of thinkery, though, it makes enough sense that we need not berate the people behind the scenes for 'needlessly complicating' time travel.
Endgame plays with its own internal logic to a decent degree while remaining somewhat consistent. However, not everything is as air-tight as the movie would have you believe.
