Enduro Racer is an isometric racing game by Sega. The arcade original and every other port of the game was more traditional racing game that is presented similarly to previous Sega racing games such as Hang-On and Outrun.
The game challenge you to 10 different races set in five different settings: Country Track, The Ruins, The Red Desert, the Marshland and the Mountain Roads. The first five races are the easier variant of each setting and the five others are the more difficult variant. The goal is to beat all race under 10 minutes, avoiding crashed as much as possible. One of the highlights of the game is the ability to perform high jumps by going on slopes. If you perform a wheelie just at the right time as you jump on one, you will keep the speed you had before doing said jump. If you omit the wheelie, you will lose speed as you land (but you cannot crash unless going on an obstacle or out of bound).
The first race starts with 60 seconds. After clearing it, the player will be given point based on the number of cars he/she passed. With these, the player can buy upgrade that will deplete after finishing the next race or repair their vehicle. The following items are available in the shop:
• Handle: Faster turns to the left or right
• Accelerator: The player gains speed faster
• Tire: No slowdown by going on the rough part of a race
• Engine: Increase the top speed to 263 km/h. It is the most useful upgrade in the game but also the riskiest to use dues to obstacles being harder to avoid at that speed
• Suspension: Failing to do a wheelie before going on a slope won’t make you lose speed.
• Item: Depending on the specific item the player chooses; it will repair the vehicle by removing some or all damage points.
After beating the last race, the player is presented with a motivational speech and will bring him/her back to the title screen with his/her times, it is guaranteed that you beat the default high score if you finish all 10 tracks.

Using the USA version of the game, the goal is to beat all 10 tracks as fast as possible and without crashing or taking damages from obstacles.
