Enemies at the Gate (Week 1) | Sealed League: Gameplay | Eternal Card Game
5Last week, a brand new format was introduced to Eternal: the Sealed league. This was something a lot of people in the community asked for last year, but then talks of it seemingly stopped. Sealed is a month long format that will also reveal more and more of the lore in Eternal with each new league. Seasons are now called "chapters" to reflect this. And, yes, for those of you that played Sealed in Magic: The Gathering, it works pretty much the same way in Eternal. You are initially given 8 packs (4 Dusk Road, 2 Omens of the Past, 2 Empty Throne) and must build a 45 card deck with the cards you open. I managed to build a pretty nice Combrei deck (which I later splashed Fire in to make the deck a little better). This video shows the gameplay that determines my leaderboard position. The deckbuilding is in a separate video that I already uploaded, so feel free to check that one out if you're curious.
