Enter the Gungeon: Quest for Gunslinger
0Recorded in november, mostly couldn't be bothered to upload for ages since I had over an hour of footage meaning I'd have to shuffle around files to edit in shotcut on the pc considering ps4 can only edit 1 hour of footage in sharefactory in-colsole free editting software... long story short, I'm overestimating the difficulty and procrastinating while I could have sorted it out much sooner. This quest is made much easier with rainbow run... in fact rainbow runs pretty much break the entire difficulty of the game... It's kind of amazing just how much of a boon getting a guaranteed top tier item per floor can be. You'd think giving up on many items per floor would be detrimental... not really, a strong weapon from the start of floor rainbow chest will give you a leg up on getting perfect boss kills and your run will snowball into success getting ever more powerful over time... also the achievement to get 5 perfect rounds which would be nerve wrackingly frustrating is made into childs play if you find the clone item... you don't even need to perfect the dragun, you just need 5 total perfect bosses, spread over 2 runs, given that you'll likely have some overpowered guns to start the next run off with... pretty much guaranteed, and if not, clone isn't even that rare in the rainbow chests, so even if you're terrible, you can just try again and hope for a clone... I died once, but I had clone so I eventually made it, you need to do a glitch character run, kill the lich, then you'll be given the new gunslinger character, if you manage to beat the game with him, you'll unlock the character... he's cool, he gets synergies with every item he picks up as if you had the synergy item combo in your bags. He does cost hegemony credits to play as tho, so he's a bit restrictive if you're doing short runs or farming specific things like... the frifle rifle challenge trophy, which is one of the most ludicrously grindy nonsense trophies in the game... like kill 30 lead maidens or shambling rounds... sure, you can do multiple full runs and not run into a single of the enemies for the quest... I've found the easiest way is to just take the elevator to a floor where they're most likely to show up and clear just that floor, makes it much faster... however you can't play as characters like the glitch or gunslinger since they cost credits every time you start the run or even quick restart the run. All in all, great game, amazing mimic variety and creative enemy/gun designs, also the different items and weapons you find really change the run in a big way, very fun roguelike. And I'll get that platinum one of these days
