Entropia Universe: How To Calculate The Cost Of Each Codex Repeat Cycle To Better Plan Skill Rewards

Today we want to talk specifically about the last rank of Codex and how to calculate the cost of each Codex Repeat so we can better plan our skill rewards.
Most players don't realize that when you reach the last rank of Codex, rank 26, the cost becomes the same across the board. Regardless of the mob or planet the cost to repeat the last rank is exactly the same with each repeat being harder to finish than the one before it.
The first time we complete rank 26 will require us to cycle 5,000 PED which is $500 USD. As we understand it this includes both weapon decay and ammo burn.
This means we can pair this information with our cost-to-kill to closely estimate how many kills we will need to finish the rank. I've been working on this exact rank with Foul which have a cost-to-kill of about 0.33 PED using my current set up. This means I will need to hunt about 15,000 Foul in order to finish this rank the first time.
After we finish rank 26 the repeats begin and the math is just as easy. Simply add an additional 1,250 PED, or $125 USD, to the amount you need to cycle.
So to finish rank 26 is 5,000 PED, then we repeat needing to cycle 6,250 PED then we repeat again needing to cycle 7,500 PED etc.
If we were to get all the way to repeating it for a 36th time just to finish that 36th repeat would require 50,000 PED or $5,000 USD to be cycled! That mean's the 36th repeat on Codex is 10x as difficult as the very first time you did rank 26.
Since the skill rewards are the same every time you repeat the rank we can use this information to better plan our rewards but also so we can better prepare by having a clear understanding of the associated costs.
