Dark Matt is a freaking tank. He can easily absorb way more damage than the other bosses, has the strongest defensive self buff/heal, and summons the beefiest minions: Monoliths. He also has the simplest strategy, relying on untyped physical damage and critical hits. You can stop him with very high HP, Defense, Evade, and the Brave status. He doesn't resummon his monoliths very often, so killing them is more important than with the other 3 bosses who readily resummon. He has a couple more dangerous attacks near the end of the fight, including Giga Drill and Revenge. My strategy involved destroying him with Weak, Curse, Tired, and Poison. He has no resistance to any of those status effects and wearing him down with direct damage is no easy task. You can target his weaker Resistance stat to bypass his insane Defense, and in fact I should've been using spells with Anna instead of physical attacks. I used Defense debuffs from Matt's sword to enable physical attacks to do the work they needed to, but using all Poison weapons is a viable strategy too.
