Having seen the collectors edition of it's sequel on sale, I decided to more recently play Epic Mickey on Nintendo Wii.

To give it a short summary, I've been finding Junction Point's gothic take on the celebrated cartoon icon to be rather enjoyable. It has solid controls, original design mechanics in the paint bursh/eraser abilities and some fun platforming.

Decent 3D platformers have become somewhat of a rarity during this generation of gaming, ironically many of the better of which are only available on Nintendo Wii. It may be no Rayman Origins and certainly lacks the scale found in either Mario Galaxy games but Epic Mickey is a splendid attempt at making a unique platformer based on the House of Mouse's adventures.
