Soul Calibur (Dreamcast)
18Soul Calibur for Dreamcast. Do I genuniely need to describe this video, aside from the fact that is my first upload of the 128 bit Sega system?
This is a completely unaltered playthrough of the arcade mode using Siegfried, including credits roll. It has been a while since I've last played Soul Calibur, hence some noobiness, but hopefully you'll be able to see also why I love this game so much in the fifteen minute odd runtime of this video.
As my first Dreamcast game, you can imagine I have alot to say about Soul Calibur, you couldn't really ask for a more impressive launch fighter and I'd still call it my favourite fighting game. Soul Calibur has smooth controls, a delicately balanced roster of characters and fantastic art design. It is also a darn shame that Namco were never able to match the pure excellence of the first Soul Calibur with any of their subsequent sequels and spin-offs that the series saw over the last decade.
