In this episode of Let's Play Final Fantasy IV Unprecedented Crisis; we head to the moon! There we head towards the Crystal Palace and are met with a Lunarian... but maybe not the one we were expecting.

Final Fantasy Iv is a JRPG developed by Squaresoft (now Square Enix) that sees the dark knight Cecil, the dragoon Kain, the white mage Rosa, the summoner Rydia, and the ninja Edge go to the moon to defeat a great evil that threatens the world. On the way they are met with a huge cast of awesome characters and the go through awesome set pieces before finally getting to the moon.

This romhack, created by PinkPuff, shakes things up a bit by changing some of the characters (through modified abilities) and reorganizes the story so that it happens in a different sequence. The Unprecedented Crisis hack was first created to show off the capabilities of a new hacking tool called FF4kster but eventually grew into a much bigger project.

I am playing this hack on a copy of Final Fantasy IV that was side loaded on my SNES Classic. I'm playing it this way because I don't make much use of my SNES and the controllers feel as amazing now as they did then, it is the right way to enjoy this classic!
