A very lackluster basketball game whose main redeeming quality of the time was that so many other basketball games were essentially unplayable. The slam dunk contest is overly frustrating at first but once mastered, is quite devoid of skill. The 3 point contest is a bit more skill-based yet is quite boring. The one-on-one basketball matches are a bit more fun against a human opponent, yet it is difficult to judge your relationship to the ball, creating a lot of frustrating circumstances. Also, the game seems heavily tied to RNG and less so on skill. A relic of the past that should stay in the past.

I have a fond (sarcasm here) memory of this one. One of my brothers and his two friends played this game with me when they stopped by. While I wasn't looking (I was 7 years old at the time), they stole the 4 SNES games my other brother had loaned me which included Shadowrun (one of my favorite games to this day), Eye of the Beholder, Flashback, and Wing Commander. Why couldn't they have just stolen this one instead? :(
