One of the top 5 Virtual Boy games of all-time, which isn't saying much. However, it is a fun, albeit short and repetitive, wireframe shooter that takes some inspiration from Star Fox. The controls are responsive, the environments and enemies are challenging and interesting, and the game really takes advantage of the Virtual Boy hardware, including the controller. The buttons are mapped in an intuitive way, making it quite easy to fly your craft and engage in combat.
This game was $5 in a bargain bin at Walmart in 1996, and it was definitely a bargain at that price. Definitely worth a purchase for a Virtual Boy collector, if the goal is to collect games worth playing on the console.
