Episode 37 - Sky Castle Part Deux! - Let's Play The Amber Throne
5In this episode of Let's Play The Amber Throne we go back to the Sky Castle but this time we're ready. With a lesson learned from our past failure we stock up on potions and head forth.
The Amber Throne is a jRPG developed by Joshua Missile (@joshuamissile) using the RPG Maker. Don't let this dissuade you though, the art in Amber Throne (backgrounds, sprites, maps) is all hand drawn and makes no use of the default RPG Maker RTP asset (except from some sound effects). The gameplay is similar to your standard jRPG, turn-based party, character equipment, overhead map, etc but it manages to stick out from the crowd by having a very unique style.
Follow Arra as she follows her father's last words to her: "Destroy the Amber Throne". With her father's motivations unclear, Arra will have to find a way to reach the sky as the castle floats far above the land she now stands on. She must hurry though, or else the Amber Throne could fall in the wrong hands.
