It's a real-time with pause, party based, rogue-lite. Your characters will attack enemies that are adjacent to them. But, you do micro-manage them, including using spells and traits, etc. Missions can take quite a bit of time, using hotkeys in combat can help alleviate that a little. Base building progression is slow and will take many missions to complete. Also, recharging characters can take multiple missions in time, so you need to change your party around frequently.
