A hack & slash, action adventure, souls-like with puzzle elements. Controls are okay, the visual perspective can take a little getting use to; discerning what is a cliff or wall, the vertical space a boss takes up while moving across the arena, etc. Combat can also be a bit finicky. Sometimes you get hit when you are clearly outside the 'danger zone'. Some special attacks didn't seem to do anything except drain your resources, lol. Still, the addition of puzzles were nice and the combat didn't become a preposterous mess as with most souls-like games flooding the genre.
