Estimating the loot table for Ruined Books - Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks | Minecraft
0Someone said these were really common as they found them in like half the chests in an ancient city, but when i had tried finding them, i only found one out of like 15. I am currently taking Data Analysis at school, and i have just learned how to estimate the true mean or the true parameter of the system. I'll try finding it myself now.
The plan is to /give or /setblock chests with the ancient city loot table, check them somehow, and add a success or failure to a counter. I'll divide that by the total number of trials, getting my sample statistic for the percent of ancient city chests, and then calculate my error to estimate with 90%, 95%, and 99% certanty for the interval that the true parameter or percent of ancient city chests that have the Ruined Book falls under.
