Ethereum Could Get Kicked Off Cloud Host That Powers 10% of Crypto Network
Hetzner, which hosts around 10% of Ethereum nodes, states that it does not permit mining or anything "even vaguely connected," including staking.
Ethereum looks to be on the verge of being dropped by the cloud-networking company that supports nearly 10% of the second-largest blockchain.
Hetzner, a German-based cloud services provider, stated this week in a Reddit post that its terms of service clearly prohibit crypto mining and staking, which is the technique Ethereum will soon take to maintain the blockchain.
