Etrian Odyssey 2 HD: Salamox

On one hand this boss has higher attack than the final boss. On the other hand it's defenses are somewhat lower and is one of the last bosses in the story with an actual weakness. Anyways Salamox is primarily going to use fire attacks and maybe inflict blind and curse status ailments. But with only 4100 HP it's not going to last as long as some of the other bosses so don't worry this isn't an endurance fight especially since the enemies in the area are so weak you can just fight mobs until your force gauge fills up then come in ready to unleash Armageddon on him... or at the very least riot gun. Also this fight was where I learned none of the bosses, except maybe Ur-Child, are immune to terror and with Dampen lowering Ailment resistances you can somewhat reliably inflict terror on this boss and after that well... heheheh.
Let's just say this won't be the last boss we force to commit suicide.
Also I highly advise getting the skill Erase or some other way to remove enemy buffs going forward. It's not required for the remaining story bosses but you're going to hate yourself if you don't have a way to get rid of enemy buffs in the post game.
