Etrian Odyssey 2 HD: Beating Dragon Early (Storm Emperor)
0So in the Dazed in confused quest after saving the guard the Storm emperor will show up. You're supposed to run for your life but... what if you decide to fight instead? Well ya get to fight it and you don't stand a chance on normal or expert but... let's just say I lowered the difficulty to picnic for this fight out of morbid curiosity and then you actually stand a chance.
Picnic Difficulty: 7/10 He has 12000 HP so even with you taking reduced damage and him taking increased damage this fight is still rough because Volt Breath hits like a truck and he's the tankiest foe we're gonna fight until the endgame. There's also curse breath to watch out for.
Normal/Expert Difficulty: Don't bother/10 at this point in the game the boss will just hit the skill issue button called volt breath and fry your party instantly.
If you manage to win you'll get a volt scale and 50000 ental.
