EUC Beginners Series Episode 3
Beginners EUC Day 3. Remember I am not an expert so advice may be wrong. This is me sharing the EUC learning experience and personal observations. Note the music is not to be obnoxious. It's legit safety. Dogs don't get startled and bite me when I roll up past them and pedestrians know I am coming. And Cyclists, well F them, they try and speed up when I pass. Completely dangerous people.
I do some starts from pavement and grass. A little offroading until the fireants chase me off their lawn.
Not intended but caught, WOBBLE! Yes. I had several cases of high speed (16mph) wobble and recovery. I did not realize the wheel moves that much!
Finally the training wheels come off, I remove the 16mph speed limit and take it off road and on a muddy hill. Granted it's the equivalent of a "bunny slope" for ski peeps. I do love the EUC and as a former skier, this feels more at home and natural to me. Yes I still love my OneWheel XR. But Future Motion seems content on losing customers. More on that after research.
In all, day 3 was pretty great and by the end of this 18 mile ride the batteries were pretty dead and so are my legs.
