EUC Beginners Series Episode 2: The Dreaded EUC Wobble
Hey, so I'm not a professional. I'm literally 2 days into this Inmotion v8. I'm sharing my learning experiences in hopes it benefits other new riders or those on the fence about buying one. I am not paid in any way for this *sad face*. EUC's are a ton of fun. But they can be terrifying when you get the wheel wobble. I was getting it at 5-10 mph and swore the wheel was defective or warped. Turns out I was the defect.
I'd love for you to watch and like and subscribe. But if you're like me and just want a fast answer it's this: Relax. Don't clench with your thighs. Your muscles are too tense which throws the wheel off balance. When you do feel the wobble, slow down, relax and carve it out. If you do start losing control try to slow as much as possible before bailing. There's more science involved, you're creating an oscillation feedback loop by clenching and not giving the wheel enough flexibility to do it's thing.
I also experience a lot of foot fatigue when riding, which is also related to positioning and just relaxing. your job is literally to steer and control speed. Let the wheel do the rest. Trust your technology and do not fight it.
