Euphoria is a different vibe
6Sam Levinson really hit the mark with this one. "Euphoria" is a UFO in television—its vibe is entirely unique. I had the "Labyrinth" soundtrack looping in my playlist; it's hypnotic and entrancing. "Euphoria" excels where "The Idol" fell short. It's better composed and paced, not a Frankenstein's monster like the latter. It feels authentic, not forced. The restaurant episode gave me goosebumps; I rewound multiple parts to catch all the nuances of this masterpiece. It's like watching a one-hour play, wonderfully fully done and crafted. I love that show. RIP Angus Cloud; you were simply amazing in your role. I wonder how they'll handle his absence in the script and production, given his pivotal role as the nuanced Fez. He brought a calm explosiveness to the cast, a levity that was unmatched.
