Clueless fanboys always say 'Amstrad had better graphics' or "mode 1 is good" etc yeah right, it didn't and it wasn't unless a clueless moron was doing the C64 port. CPC can NEVER do C64 Hardball let alone C64 Law of the West lol even if you use 100% of the 4mhz CPU to swap palette colours EVERY scanline. Amstrad CPC chipset = ZERO innovation. 1981 C64 VIC-II chip rips the CPC a new one replicating the iconic Amiga 32/4096 colour Porsche by J.D.Sachs. 27 colour palette, and 17 of the colours are useless except for a pastel makeup simulator for girls ;)
