Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo - Anime Movie Review
7Welcome to my review of the 2012 anime film, Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo. This is the third part in the four part Rebuild of Evangelion film series, taking place 14 years after the events of the last one with Asuka and Mari recovering Shinji from outer space. Faced with a new threat, Misato heads a group known as Wille in a struggle for survival against the Angels, Nemesis Evas, and Nerv. This movie has a lot of great action scenes, particularly the very first scene and the ending battle, but the plot is a bit all over the place, especially if you are watching it for the first time. I hated this movie the first time I saw it, but after having re-watched it, I actually do like it. I just wish they could have done more to explain what happened during the 14 year time skip.
