Shenmue Episode 1: Thunderclap - Anime Review
7Welcome to my review of Shenmue Episode 1! I have never played the Shenmue games, but became interested in this anime series when I saw the trailer several months ago. This series takes place in 1986 and follows the main character, Ryo Hazuki on his journey to avenge his father's death. I would imagine that if you are a fan of the original video games you would enjoy this series, but coming from someone who has never played the games, I can definitely recommend it if you are interested in action and martial arts. It looks like ki and other powers will play a role as well. New episodes release late on Saturday nights, so stay tuned for my review of episode 2 sometime next week.
