TL;DW - going through almost the entire process of setting up a client after installing the game on a new computer.

only things missing are toggling off the reminder about going to low sec, ship trading, contract creation, blah blah...stuff like that. oh! and i forgot the importing of my quickbar from my old computer...it's probably somewhere in "price checking" playlist. *wanders off*

followup: you'll notice the general audio settings were rearranged (it seems that left side is remembered over clients if you have the same launcher profile set), and also the graphics settings are remembered as well for the left and right (but not the middle toggles, iirc)...hopefully i remembered to move the slider for dscan's angle to 360 instead of the default 90
