TL;DW - moving individual combat probes into position for spotting the capsules to destroy using my worm. after that it was me Dscanning down the little buggers, and then running two sites (one with an uninvited guest, and another solo)

oh, i discover that folks don't need a key to activate the first gate, but they need it for the second. probably what the majority are doing - just ganking the initial zone.

the site doesn't despawn immediately so i'm just going to offload my loot to the magnate each time i run a site.

FOLLOWUP: something weird happened to most of my probers - their probes defaulted back to 4au/sun and they somehow ended back up in my cargohold...is there a time limit for idle probes?

Also, you can log off and log back on and your probes will remember their position still...if you 'quit' however it will forget, sadly. On the bright side, if you jump to another system, and then back, they'll remember their positions (always remember to launch via the module not the button)
