i sort of stumble around assuming things and realizing i have to correct my misunderstandings of how grid fu works...i suspect i'm overthinking things a wee bit. hopefully next time this happens on a FOB i'll be able to record from the beginning what's going on.

[regret: not starting the recording earlier, but then i was assuming something and didn't think there was a problem with making an ass out of u and me]

FOLLOWUP: yeah, next time i have an issue with grid i'll definitely start the video recording then, and work the problem from there.
