Hulk, Mackinaw, Skiff, & Retriever...each with modulated strip miner IIs, each also with one tech2 crystal and tech1 crystal loaded.

implants are ca-1 & 2, low-grade harvest implants, and a highwall 5% implant in slot10.
orca skills, ofc, maxed with the mining foreman implant (man, they're cheap nowadays. lol)

purpose of this is to fact check the crystal destruction, beyond just trusting ccp's descriptions and reddit trolling.
my guess has always been that CCP's idiotic descriptions belie the simpler truth: both crystal techs have exactly the same RNG for crystal 'damage'

edit: looks like i could be wrong on that front...rng tended to pattern into tech2 getting more damage (only one sample though, so need to test more)

ranges for tech1 and tech2 strip miners on mining vessels:

tech2 mining drones on the orca were pulling 200.48m³ every 60 seconds (plus travel time)...so their combined (4 drones) output was a total of 13.36m³/s (~half a retriever)
[i don't have drone spec to 5 yet so...what do i look like a scrub krabber? fu]
and i'm not calculating what 5 mining drones can do. go subscribe to a carebear youtuber.

EDIT: CRYSTAL DAMAGE
so far it looks pretty much like they get damaged just the same (rng mostly)
followup: one quarter of a moon field (4 week pull) and damages to crystals were:
minorfreak tech2 22% tech1 18%
hereticus tech2 22% tech1 10%
majorfreak tech2 10% tech1 15%
rain taniel tech2 13% tech1 18%
TOTAL ORE MINED: 657,072m³ in that quadrant, plus 49,152m³ from the orca's four mining drones.

further followup: after 3 quarters of the moon field it looks like i was wrong, at least as far as one statistical analysis is concerned.

conclusion: my intuition tells me my observation of facts leads to one probability: that the more the damage increases, the more the 'volatility' comes into play
