*warning: i initially get it wrong by sticking stubbornly to an assumption*

huh, so i totally thought that RAM will match the "incoming" "damage" "type"...and it took me until i got omni damage to realize that something was off as i hovered over the module shifting resists to favor some damage types over others and completely ignoring one type.

when i looked at the ship fitting and actual real time resists, it looked all the world as if the RAM was trying to equalize them (in context of omni damage from upwell missiles), that's why it was ignoring EM (because it was the highest resist)

Eve-uni's quote is, "The modules looks at damage *after* resistances and shifts resistances accordingly. This makes the module useful [especially] if you are receiving omni damage as it will try to plug your worst holes."

followup: when i go up against blood raider FOBs the hardener says "em 30%, th 30%" and i've always figured that somehow the total incoming dps from all sources is equally em and th (which is, in hindsight, incorrect)
