TL;DR - a single orca with tech2 mining drones (augmented is only 10% better) outputs the equivalent of one tech 1 strip miner on a boosted mackinaw. So half a watered down mack, or a quarter of a good hulk.

the only way to effectively mine ore with drones and go afk that much is to put one drone on a roid, each. so 5 roids in range if you're lucky. Gneiss is pretty common in amarr space for moon goo.
one afk orca mining smart can play for free as long as they mine 4 hours a day of gneiss...every day...how are you going to find that many easily mined gneiss moons each day for 4 hours? good luck with that. go play another game, ffs, because what's the point of having 4 orcas afk when 1 orca and 3 lazy macks can do the equivalent of 7 afk orcas - and you'd actually have pretty decent afk time with 35k m3 ore holds on the macks

those hulk videos i make? you get almost x7 the afk time (okay, so you can't afk effectively with hulks like i run them. lol)
