Sah dudes,
With the release of Season 22, or Season of the Witch, we were given the Ex Diris exotic grenade launcher, and the Mothkeeper’s Wraps exotic hunter gauntlets. These two have a great interaction with each other. Let me briefly touch on what they do, and then get to the presentation.
Ex Diris operates like a hive boomer, and doesn’t need reloads since it auto-reloads from reserves. Its fire rate increases when dishing out or receiving damage. Final blows with Ex Diris spawn Loyal Moths, which seek out enemies and explode, blinding them.
Mothkeeper’s Wraps change the property of our grenades regardless of subclass. When throwing your grenade you release two moths. If one reaches a target, they explode and blind enemies, if they reach an ally, they receive a void overshield.
The crazy thing is, Ex Diris final blows while Mothkeeper’s Wraps are equipped can spawn two moths, with one exploding and blinding as normal, and the other being able to provide a void overshield. Pairing these two exotics seems like a no brainer now, and should be factored into a build. I hope this information was helpful.
