Showrunner is a new 900 rpm smg that is based on an old Vanguard reward. You can grab yours from the Ritual Table in the HELM with the Recovered Red War Weapons. Keep in mind there are other weapons in the pool, and each weapon will cost 2 Witch’s Engrams and 1000 glimmer.
The only reason why I am making a video about this gun is due to Kinetic Tremors, which is present in the 4th slot. Being a lightweight 900 rpm smg, proccing Kinetic Tremors is insanely easy, since it only takes 12 shots. Firing 12 shots on this weapon only takes 0.8 seconds, making it the fastest weapon type to activate the perk. The second fastest, according to testing and some math is the Supremacy, but it requires enhanced Kinetic Tremors and is a special weapon.
Having this perk instantly grants free aoe damage in pve, and chunks majors for about 10k damage, assuming they get hit with all 3 shockwaves. Against tankier ads, this can be a great tool for ad clear. But the most interesting thing about this weapon, at least to me, is the interaction between Kinetic Tremors and Vanguard Vindication, which causes weapon kills to restore 7 health. Vanguard Vindication’s healing activates on Kinetic Tremor kills, as you’re seeing in the background, which provides even more value to the weapon. In PVE, this could pair well with a damage resist build for some easy ad clear and healing. Try to chase a roll with Overflow and Kinetic Tremors to reduce the amount of times needed to reload.
When it comes to the Crucible, use something else. You can definitely make this gun work, but in my experience, other options like The Immortal are just better.
