New Hero Vegnus EX20 First Impression | Eternal Evolution
I just made The new elite hero Vegnus to legendary crystal 2 and I tested this hero in different game modes and I realized that this hero is somehow similar to the hero Zaida. If you are planning to build Zaida, just don’t rush, because there is an alternative option and that is Vegnus. It will take time to make an immortal crystal 5 Zaida, but with Vegnus, immortal crystal 5 will just take a minimum of 3 weeks after the Rise of Heroes event, he will be on the advance recruitment hero priority lists. This type of strategy is excellent for Free-to-play players and low spender players and take note that Vegnus is useless without pandemonium while Zaida can be used in certain game modes like in the higher levels of crimson abyss and PVP independently without Pandemonium. I think those are the major differences between Zaida and Vegnus aside from their tier differences.
The best equipment for him so far that I tested is the Abundant set and the accuracy set, with HP main stats and you have the option to use crit damage reduction or damage reduction gears. The same with the creative build for Zaida which is the abundant set also. Many laugh at the Abundant Set built for Zaida, but now, they already treasure it. Vegnus is not that good in PVE like in the chapter scenario mode like in this test, although vegnus is still in legendary evolution, I can already sense that he is not excellent in PVE just like with other tanks and still vanguards and Nord are the best heroes here as frontliners. Still i am at chapter 57 and I haven’t really done some chapter scenario clearing for almost 2 months now.
I also tested Vegnus in the EX levels of Tara dame Argo and the following videos are the results. Vegnus at Legendary 2 crystal cannot tank EX2 and EX3 levels or maybe he can tank EX2 if he is in immortal crystal 5 already at hyper evolution. As of the moment with his evolution, he can tank EX1 tara dome and that is an excellent indication that he is a great tank in PVP in tandem with pandemonium.
This video is a summary and I only showed the best possible game mode in which Vegnus is doing an excellent job. And it would not be good to test this hero in a very obvious game mode because that will make us noob in this game.
Last is in PVP. The best skill for Vegnus is the Heavy Cleave and Devastating strike. This devastating strike provides a knockdown on his talent and I think Oisa can do better than this because she does not need accuracy while Vegnus needs one. This Devastating Strike is Aubecks strength because of the knock down effect in which it deals additional damage according to the max HP of the enemy and this is HP based. We need only the knock back effect here, because it will be pandemonium and commander Aubeck will do the rest of the damage.
Next is the heavy cleave which is his Ultimate skill. This heavy cleave damage is based on the HP of the enemy and if you want to go beyond the limit, you will increase the HP of Vegnus for further additional damage. But those damages are still negligible and still, the best skill effect of this skill is the knock back effect which is accuracy based too, and the talent effect in which affected targets with heavy cleave, receive additional 20% AOE damage for 7 seconds.
We don't need the damage of Vegnus and we need only the knock back effect and its talent effect that amplifies the damage dealt. Still, it will be pandemonium and aubeck who will deal the major damage towards the enemy. So I would suggest to have Vegnus with at least 150 accuracy or even 200 accuracy will be excellent for frequent knock back effect.
