EXAPUNKS Look and some early solutions
1I'm taking a look an EXAPUNKS, a new Zachtronics game. First, I must apologize for the echoy audio at some points. I'm not sure how that happened, but I'll try to prevent that in the future. Apparently the game audio somehow mixed with my voice audio and they got offset slightly in editing, causing the echo.
NOTE: I cover advanced solutions for the first 5 puzzles of the game in the last 25 minutes of the video. So if you don't want to be spoiled, stop watching there. I give notice in the video.

EXAPUNKS is a new programming puzzle game by Zachtronics. In it, you have to write small programs that traverse networks and carry out tasks for you in this retro-futuristic 1997 game.
The programming is relatively simple, with the assembly-like language having only 27 commands. You can do math, and comparisons and loops easily, and even perform more complex operations like reading and writing files, moving across a network, communication between programs, and making new running copies of your program with just a command or two!
Each task / puzzle has many possible solutions. Once you complete the task, your solution is compared to other players with a histogram and compared directly to the people on your Steam friends list.
The game also includes a solitaire game and a puzzle-bobble like arcade game to play as a break from programming. The game also has a gameboy-like console you can program as an optional objective. Additionally, you can make your own puzzle levels for the game and share them on the Steam workshop.
