In Germany, the Second Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers are in the final phase of an exercise aimed at putting their 'readiness to move' ability to the test. 2RRF are part of 7th Armoured Brigade but unlike their Garrison colleagues who are in the process of deploying to Afghanistan, the Fusiliers make up the Small Scale Contingency Battle Group; a high-readiness team that are given thirty days notice to move.
