Exercise Griffin Strike Takes To The Sea
108British and French Forces have been fully engaged in a major exercise to demonstrate military co-operation between the two countries.
Exercise Griffin Strike is the culmination of six years of work between the UK and French militaries which aims to demonstrate their potential to deploy on operations as the 'Combined Joint Expeditionary Force'.
The Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force have all been involved.
With just the channel standing between the UK and France, geographically the countries are close.
However, after years of preparation and ten days of intense exercise, it's safe to say the two militaries have reached a new level in their relationship.
