The last speed run and supposedly the hardest makes using 3 Flame Mages pretty much mandatory.
Throw 'Geyser Flare' in his face repeatedly, not caring about the shells (fucking target resets tripped me up. -.-).
Managing the (de)buffs (like 'Weak Resist' from Lightning Mage or -for the better- Magical Jammer +Power Tonics, as they only consume 1 turn) and turns (let the front attacker cast while the rest stands idle) needs to be taken good care off, too.
Equipping the support skill 'Magic Guard' should help greatly,
while the offense could take advantage of cartain Mix-Up skills.

Record time 5:54:48 (15:00:00 (!!) needed for Lv 3 rewards).

This was not only the last set of normal trophies, netting me the plat, but also the last video i've captured for this game. I'd love to give SOTeT (Star Ocean 3 Till the end of time) HD a try...
FF12 TZA would be another fine addition to my collection, although FF8 is my most favorite part of the Final Fantasy series. Why don't you make a Remaster/Remake happen, Square?!
