After mining and grinding for gold in my down time outside of recording, I've managed to rack up over 3 million units! The original plan was to purchase a new ship from Director Rhyko, but I soon find myself spending it on exosuit upgrades. While flying around the planet, I come across various suit upgrade stations. The price increases by 10,000 units every time I find a new station. Each station equips me with one additional slot. While it seems expensive up front, a little more mining shall help pay those off easily.

Also outside of recording, I collected a new mining tool from the Gek. It's a bit more powerful than my previous. But if nothing else, it looks cool and reptilian/alien-ish.

I am playing No Man's Sky using Xbox 360 gamepad controls on PC. No Man's Sky is also available as a console exclusive for PS4 (and perhaps Playstation Neo in the future as well).
