In this gameplay, I visit a series of alien monoliths in effort to increase my standing and knowledge of the Gek language and species. Each location contains a handful of knowledge stones as well as a centerpiece interaction. Using language I've already learned plus context clues from short backstory given, I must choose the correct option that will please the monolith.

However, in order to get the location of some of the ruins, I'll have to break into a few outpost facilities being guarded by sentinels. But even once inside, I must answer a mathematical riddle by finding a common pattern between a set of given numbers.

I am playing No Man's Sky using Xbox 360 gamepad controls on PC. No Man's Sky is also available as a console exclusive for PS4 (and perhaps Playstation Neo in the future as well).
