I've landed on a planet where the temperature is scalding hot, hanging around 95 C / 203 F. My thermal protection falls rapidly the longer I stay out in the heat, leaving little time to explore before having to run back to my ship or a nearby building. The animal life seems acclimated, I am not.

Inside an outpost, a derelict has been gripped by some type of overgrown lifeform. While reading, I'm advised of a weather warning for an incoming storm. If I thought it was hot before, that was nothing. I can only stay outside a matter of seconds before my protection wears off. Better to stay inside all together until the storm passes. And the storms are pretty frequent, too. It would suck to get caught off0 guard by an extreme storm while out and about exploring.

I am playing No Man's Sky using Xbox 360 gamepad controls on PC. No Man's Sky is also available as a console exclusive for PS4 (and perhaps Playstation Neo in the future as well).
