Finally figured out some UE4 basics:
- blueprint system
- HUD
- menus
- graphics manipulation
- controls manipulation (including gamepad)
- line trace system
- hit detection
- particle system
- - beam with calculable start-end points
- - bullet/shot decals

I previously already done some stuff with materials creation and level design, so thing getting better and better.
