Exploring an Abandoned Graveyard | Stray Souls demo
2Hello everyone! Sadly I got sick so I couldn't play as many demos as I wanted to, but here we have another gameplay. This game is called Stray Souls and it is a survival horror game that has the classic walking simulator mechanics most horror games have nowadays, but it is mixed up with some shooting, so let's see what the result will be.
For starters, it graphically looks pretty great, the character, the enviroment, the monsters and the birds. The atmosphere is also quite dreadful.
The movement, though, feels awful. At first you can't even run (so you have quite some minutes of slow exploration), and then you run slowly and with some annoying difficulties to change direction.
Also, most of the time during the demo you are looking for stuff and for me didn't make a lot of sense why... The character just decided to look for a gun after reading a note about a gun... Then he robbed some bullets from some ranger's cars... and then decided to keep exploring. So, in summary, I have no idea what is going on here, but at least it looks good.
