11We decided to take the Jeep Patriot on the Quartzville adventure instead of the Commander and I will say the Patriot did ok.
To get to Quartzville area take Quartzville Road and follow it pass Yellow Bottom until you see a private club camp site to your right, go pass that until you go over a bridge, after the bridge you will see a gravel road going up a hill to your left and a paved road to your right. Drive up that hill at your own risk using caution. That is where you will find some mines. The other mine we learned later was on private property so don't go there..
