I headed down the Saline Valley Road to camp out overnight at the Big Silver Mine. It was a totally desolate, quiet, and peaceful campsite. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the major workings for the Big Silver Mine. All I could find was one access tunnel that did not lead to the main workings. There were a lot of bats in it, though, and it did have a branching tunnel further in. I also explored the lower tram station where two cables still extend from the station to the upper tram station high on the mountain.
